Where we are

The RiverinAFL website was created late 2002 with an emphasis on providing results and history of local AFL leagues in the Riverina region. Over the last few years all the local leagues have created a web presence in some way. So the need for comprehensive results on the RiverinAFL website has been downgraded. A results page has been setup to provide links to the league websites.

The focus now for RiverinAFL from 2008 is to provide historical content for all local football leagues with an expansion to nearby regions.

Future

During 2007 historical data has been compiled for the following leagues and will be progressively added to the RiverinAFL History Website. (Click on the image above to be taken to this site)

• Ovens & King Football Netball League
• Tallangatta & District Football League
• Golden Rivers Football Netball League including Kerang & Northern District Leagues
• Central Murray Football Netball League including Mid Murray League
• Former Central Goulburn League including Tungamah and Benalla-Tungamah Leagues
• Goulburn Valley Football Netball League
• Kyabram District Football Netball League
• Benalla & District Football League - recently created and being researched 

The following disbanded leagues have been compiled and/or are currently being researched for inclusion in the future;

• Coreen & District League 1909 to 2007
• Griffith, MIA and Leeton District Leagues from 1914 to 1945
• Chiltern & District Football Association

And a number of leagues that lasted a short term where the clubs eventually became associated with all the leagues listed above
