As to the proposed redevelopment, the joint venture proposed that Robertson Oval undergo the following upgrades and modifications: * Increase the playing field to a maximum of 170 metres x 140 metres. * Install new playing surface with drainage and new turf centre wicket area. * New perimeter picket fencing. * Increase capacity of oval to include: * 2,000 undercover * 6,500 grass embankment and timber plats * 1,000 standing * corporate * New change rooms and associated facilities. * Upgrade existing lighting to enable Cricket and Australian Rules Football at night. * Increase and upgrade toilets as well as food and beverage outlets for spectators. * New perimeter fencing, entry and exit points together with extensive landscaping.
