Text Box: Mangoplah are probably the most successful of all football clubs in the Riverina. They have won 22 premierships including 15 up to 1954 when they amalgamated with Cookadinia and then added another 7 up to 2003.

Cookadinia only ever played in one Grandfinal and that was against Mangoplah way back in 1931.

This is an amazing feat for a village of about 200 people.
There would be about 3-400 in the surrounding rural district.

In the early nineties they amalgamated with the Eastlakes juniors football club to be known as Mangoplah-Cookadinia United Eastlakes.

MCUE are now in the Riverina Football League and have not played off in any Seniors Grandfinal at this stage. They have won a Reserves and Under 18’s premiership.

Mango’s first premiership was in the Rock & District Association. The defeated The Rock in 1925 and Tootool in 1926.

In this period they won 5 straight premierships 1925 to 1929. Their best run was 6 straight between 1940 and 1950. There was a recess due to WW2 from 1941-45.
