Lavington Sports Club Oval is one of the premier sporting ovals in country New South Wales and regularly hosts sporting events such as AFL & NRL practice games. The Murray Kangaroos who play in the Victorian Football League also play half their home games at the venue. Other teams to play at the venue include the Lavington Football Club and the Lavington Cricket Club.

The ground itself has a main grandstand with 1,250 seats at Northern End, and TV standard lighting on 4 large towers. There is a large hill area around the western half the Ground
